Winter vacations for colleges from January 4

The Jammu and Kashmir government today announced 50 days of winter vacations for all the government degree colleges of Kashmir division from January 4.
"All the Government Degree Colleges (GDC) of Kashmir Division, including Winter Zone Colleges of Jammu division, shall observe winter vacation for a period of 50 days with effect from January 4, 2016," an official spokesman said.
He said that the order to this effect was issued by the Higher Education department of the Jammu and Kashmir government.
