Many celebrities shared interesting anecdotes about working with Shah Rukh, while others took to social media to talk about how the actor inspired them to give their best in life.
Salman, who has worked with SRK in films like "Karan Arjun" and "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", said, "I wish him the best in life, I wish him good health, family and success and most amazing life. I would want whole family to be healthy."
"We were shooting for 'Dil Aashna Hai', it was the first day with Divya Bharti. Unfortunately, I had to go home because my kids were not doing homework and I had to be there. Shah Rukh said, 'it's ok mam, you go home, I'll take this shot.' And he did! We both were actors who had turned directors," Hema told PTI.
The actress wished him "peace, healthy life" and said she wants his son Aryan to become an actor soon.

"He was always a very spirited boy. Always a 'josh'ed up actor. As a youngster, as a beginner in his first film, he was very respectful, very good to speak to, always full of energy," Rishi said.
When asked what would he like to gift Shah Rukh, actor Varun Dhawan, who is sharing screen space with him in the forthcoming film "Dilwale", said, "On the sets of 'Dilwale', we used to play games. We played play station 4... I would give him play station 5."
