Woman accuses husband, father-in-law of sexual harrasment

A woman has accused her husband and father-in-law of sexually harrasing her for dowry, following which a case has been registered against the duo, police said.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, she married a resident of Sector 21D of Faridabad on January, 15 this year, immediatly after which her husband and in-laws started harassing her for dowry, ASI Rajkumari said.
She was thrashed frequently by her husband and she alleged that her father-in-law of molested her everal times and even attempted to rape her, the ASI said.
A case was filed with Women Police Station Sector 16 under IPC sections 376, 377 , 354A (1), 511 and 323.

Investigations are underway in the case, the ASI added.
