A woman and her daughter were
killed by unidentified assailants in a village in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said today.
The incident took place at Belhan village last night as the assailants barged into a house and slit the throat of Savitri Kunwar (40) and her daughter Neha Kumari (15), the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Ashok Kumar Das said.
The bodies were recovered this morning after their neighbours broke open the house, he said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
A probe was on to find out the culprits, Das said.
