Woman arrested for son's murder

A woman and her son were arrested here on charges of murdering her other son and disposing the body by stuffing it in a travel bag, police said today.
Pushpa Devi (55) and Vipin (24) were arrested yesterday for killing Manish (28), whose body was found in a garden on Rampur Swar Road on March 30, Additional superintendent of Police, Sadhna Goswami said.
During investigations, Pushpa said she repeatedly hit Manish with with a frying pan, while Vipin pinned him down, after he behaved indecently with Vipin's wife in an inebriated state, Goswami said.
Pushpa was earlier arrested and spent years in jail on charges of flesh trading while Manish had been nabbed under the Arms act, the ASP said.

A case of murder has been registered under Milak and Majhola police stations of Rampur and the murder weapon has been recovered, she said.
