The incident took place on Friday when Sandeep, teased the woman and when she resisted he thrashed her with a slippers. He escaped after threatening her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anyone, they said.
A case has been registered yesterday on the victim's complaint, police said, adding no arrests have been made so far.
