The bodies of Nirupama Bharati and her daughter Kandhei (7) and son Raju (5) were spotted by the villagers of Brahmanpada, Sub-divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Sasi Sekhar Mohapatra said.
"The woman is suspected to have consumed a poisonous substance and also administered it to her two children. An empty bottle of pesticide has been recovered from the spot," Mohapatra said.
She is the second wife of Rajkishore Bharati who owns a yatra troupe and family dispute was stated to be the reason behind the extreme step taken by the woman, he said.
