Lajwanti set herself afire by sprinkling kerosene on her last night, police said today.
The woman's children - a son and a daughter (both aged between 11-12 years) - were at home and raised cries after the incident, following which the neighbours rushed to the spot but by that time the woman had died, they said.
Her husband Hari Singh, employed as a watchman at a city park here, said that his wife ended her life as she had been suffering from mental problem for a long time.
