Woman critically injured in attack by spurned lover

A married woman is battling for life after her spurned lover allegedly attacked her with a knife when she refused to accept his marriage proposal, police said.
She is admitted to the civil hospital here with multiple knife wounds and her condition is stated to be critical, police said.
The incident took place in the Parvatiya Colony locality of the town.
A case in this connection has been registered and efforts are on to nab the accused Kalu, they said.
