Police said the woman had rented a room for the parlour which was opened yesterday. She had promised free 'facial' for the first five customers.
The woman had asked three women, who turned up, to remove their gold ornaments before applying the cream on their face, saying it could take ten minutes to dry besides asking them to keep their eyes closed.
When the three opened their eyes after sometime, they found their ornaments missing and lodged a complaint, police said.
