Woman dies during tubectomy operation

A 30-year-old woman today died allegedly after she was given anesthesia by the doctor to perform tubectomy operation on her at a district hospital here following which her relatives created ruckus, police said.
They could only be pacified after assurance of government help to kin and registration of FIR against the erring doctor, ADM Ravindra Kumar, who along withDy SP Chakrapani Tripathi visited, said.
The family members alleged the death of 30-year-old Radha to the doctor's negligence, he said.
"How the woman who was found to medically fit for tubectomy could collapse after administration of one injection unless it was not proper or it was not injected properly," Rahda's family members alleged," the ADM said.

Chief Medical Officer of the hospital Basant Lal said all efforts were made to revive her after her condition deteriorated after anesthesia was injected to her.
Meanwhile, a three-memberteam of doctors has been formed to ascertain the exact cause of the woman's death.
