Rakhi Ghosh (28), a housewife, died after she allegedly set herself on fire last night following an argument and ran helter-skelter in the verandah of her house, they said.
Her mother Mukti Ghosh (60), and Ranu Ghosh (42), the wife of Rakhi's brother-in-law, too caught fire and died as they tried to save her, police said.
Rakhi's husband Nanda Ghosh (38), elder brother Sukumar Ghosh and niece Shukla Ghosh (20), suffered serious burn injuries and are admitted in a Kolkata hospital, they said.
