Woman gang-raped, 2 accused arrested

A 23-year-old woman has allegedly been gang-raped by a taxi driver and a security guard at a building in posh Park Street in central part of the city, police said today.
The two accused were arrested, they said.
The woman, who came to the city from outside, had gone to Siddique Mansion in search of work and was allegedly raped by the duo on October 27 night in the guardroom of the building, police said.
The woman lodged a complaint with the police yesterday and underwent a medical examination, the report of which is yet to be submitted.
The two accused have been remanded to police custody till November 3.
