According to the complaint lodged by the victim, Muhammad Zahid and Mehboob, residents of Murlipur, reached her residence on Wednesday and on the pretext of giving her a job took her to a jungle near Mohammadpur village, Kankerkheda police station Inspector Surendra Kumar Rana said.
There they tied up the woman, gangraped and then threatened to kill her if she revealed about the incident to anyone, police said.
Later, the victim told her husband about the incident, following which a case was lodged against the duo, police said.
Meanwhile, the body of a woman, aged about 22 years, was found in Kharkhauda area of the district, police spokesperson said today.
Prima facie it seems the victim's throat was slit, police said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem and police is trying to ascertain the identity of the victim.
