Woman hacked to death by husband in Haryana

A woman was today hacked to death with an axe allegedly by her husband in their house at Rohrai village in the district, police said.
Rajender (40) allegedly killed his wife Gayatri Devi (28) with an axe inside their house in the village, about 22 km from here, they said.
The couple were married for the last seven years and there were arguments between them which led Rajender to kill Gayatri, police said.
The incident took place when the couple's children Mohit (6) and Suraj (3) were playing in the street, they said, adding that police has recovered the axe used for committing the crime.

A case of murder has been registered against the absconding accused, police said.
