The 44-year old Buela N Sam of Ahmedabad was arrested on September 22 after she attempted to enter the Indian Space Research Organisation headquarters on the pretext of attending a conference, city Police Commissioner Jyotiprakash Mirji said today.

He told PTI that Central Industrial Security Force personnel at the gate grew suspicious when the woman enquired about the conference, which was not scheduled for the day. After a preliminary enquiry, she was handed over to police.

Mirji said the woman had stayed at the ISRO guest house here since September 19 by using a fake ID card.

He said the woman has been sent to judicial custody till October 6 on charges of criminal trespass and other offences.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Krishna Bhat said "There was no security breach."

He said the woman had also been booked under IPC sections 471 (using as genuine a forged document), 420 (cheating) and 490 (breach of contract of service during voyage or journey).
