Lajja Devi sprinkled kerosene and set herself ablaze after a dispute with her husband last night, police said.
Seeing his wife in flames, husband Ram Babu rushed to save her and suffered serious burn, they said, adding that both were rushed to the hospital where the woman was declared brought dead.
Ram Babu has received 60 per cent burns and is undergoing treatment, police said, adding the investigation is underway in the connection.
