Woman injured in black magic act succumbs

A 27-year old woman who suffered burns in an alleged act of black magic by another woman died at a private hospital here today, police said. Shemina, who was admitted to the hospital on Monday with severe burns, died without responding to treatment, they said.
Police have arrested Najima on the charge of injuring Shemina by practicing black magic.
According to police, Shemina had approached Najima seeking remedy for some personal problems. Najima had prepared for a 'homam' as part of a ritual involving fire and a fire broke out when she allegedly poured petrol.
