Woman jumps in front of Maha CM's convoy in Solapur

A woman protester today jumped in front of the convoy of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Solapur district.
The incident took place when Fadnavis was on his way to the district collectorate to review drought situation in Solapur when the woman suddenly threw herself before a vehicle in the convoy, police said.
Noticing this, the Chief Minister got down from his car and spoke to the woman, who wanted the government to take necessary action on the issue of caste verification process. She also submitted a memorandum to him in this regard.
