Woman KCP militant arrested

A woman militant of the banned Kangleipak Communist party (KCP) has been arrested by a combined team of Imphal West police commando and women police from Imphal west district, police said today.
The arrest was made on July 23 and the 55-year-old woman was a member of KCP(Mangal), a police release said. said a press release issued by PRO police.
She had sent extortion letters to various government offices, general public and businessmen in different places of Imphal West district, it said adding a case has been registered by the police.
