Woman killed in vehicle collision

A woman was killed, while her husband and two daughters were injured after their scooter was hit by a speeding tractor-trolley at DCM circle here, police said today.
The incident took place last night when the family was waiting for the traffic signal to turn green when they were hit by the tractor-trolley, they said, adding the victims were returning home after visiting Dhad Devi temple.
They were rushed to the Maharao Bheem Singh (MBS) Hospital where Rajni Kanwar (35) succumbed to injuries, police said.
A case of negligent driving has been registered against the tractortrolley driver and efforts are underway to arrest him, they said.

The body of the woman was handed over to family members, police added.
