22-year-old husband following an argument in Pratapgarh district, police said today.
The incident occurred in Suhagpura police area last night when Durga Meena (20) hit her husband Bhairoo Lal with an axe leaving him injured after they had an altercation, police said.
The injured was taken to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead, police said.
The father of the victim lodged an FIR against the daughter-in-law.
The body has been handed over to family members after postmortem, the police added.
