Woman mowed down by train in UP

A 30-year-old woman was run over by a speeding train while her 5-year-old girl narrowly escaped unhurt at the Jansath railway level crossing here, police said today.
The victim, identified as Babita, was crossing the tracks with her child last evening when the accident took place, they added.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on, police said.
In another incident, body of a 25-year-old youth was found from a railway track near Rashu Vihar in the district here last evening, they said.
