'Woman O War' wins main Hyderabad race event

Two-year-old horse "Woman O War" (jockey Kuldeep S up), trained by M Srinivas Reddy, won the Dodla Pratap Chander Reddy Memorial Million (about) 1100 Metres, the main event on the 28th day of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races held here today.
Trainer A'pam Sharma won a treble, while jockey S John scored a double.
Four first favourites obliged in a card of eight events.
Lakshman Singh emerged as the Champion Jockey of the monsoon season with 23 winners.
A Imran Khan and P S Chouhan shared the Champion Jockey title with 21 wins each to their credit. Akashy Kumar was the Apprentice Jockey with 16 wins.
City Racing News bagged the leading Tip star prize by nominating 71 outright winners during the season.

"Spread Eagle" won the Champion Horse title while 'Mechaivellianism" was adjudged the Horse of the Season.
M/s Mahendra Shah and Keerti Shah were the Leading Book Makers with a field money of over Rs 45.65 lakh.
Dr M A M Ramaswamy was the Leading Individual Owner Trophy with a stake money of over Rs 89.97 lakh. He also won the individual owner trophy of horse-based Hyderabad with a total stake winning of more than Rs 66.19 lakh.
The leading Joint owners are M/s Vijay Kumar Gupta and Susheel Kumar Gupta, representing M/s Vijay R'ing Pvt Ltd and Ahmed alam Khan, with a total stake money of Rs 52.92 lakh.
They also bagged horse-based Hyderabad Leading Joint Owners title with a stake money of Rs 53.92 lakh.
