Woman passenger abused in train

A woman passenger travelling in down Doon Express today alleged that she was abused by a man in a AC compartment following which the person was arrested, Eastern Railways said.
A press release issued by ER said RPF/GRP personnel rushed to B-1 compartment following chain pulling in the morning when the train was passing through Bandel station.
The woman passenger complained that a person sitting in front of her berth in the compartment used filthy language against her. The man was arrested following her complaint.

The accused was later produced before a Hooghly
district court.
He was released on furnishing a bail bond of Rs 1500 by the court.
