Woman police inspector commits suicide in Sivaganga district

A 40-year-old woman inspector attached to Tiruchi Railway police allegedly committed suicide by hanging in her house in Manamadurai in the district today, police said.
The deceased Amutha Selvi, who was on medical leave from December 16, 2016, took the extreme step at her house today, they said adding she has a seven-year-old daughter.
A case has been registered and investigation is on, police said.
