Woman raped by six men in Rajasthan

A 35-year-old woman was allegedly raped by six men here on the pretext of resolving a family dispute, police said today.
The woman, a resident of Hanumangarh, in a police complaint alleged that she was offered help to resolve a family dispute and brought to Jaipur, where she was raped by six men.
An FIR has been registered against the six under sections 344 (wrongful confinement for 10 or more days), 376 (rape) and 376 D (rape by one or more persons) of IPC. The matter is being probed, police said.
The woman also filed another complaint, following which one of the accused was sacked from the post of an organisation on April 23.

"There were several complaints of serious nature against the man. An explanation was sought from him. When he could not give any satisfactory explanation, he was removed from the post," a leader of the organisation said.
