Woman's body found from locked flat

A woman's decomposed body was found inside a locked flat at Golabari area in Howrah today, the police said.
Policemen broke open the door of the Kings Road flat of the woman after her father informed the police that she was not attending to phone calls and a stench was coming from the flat.
They found the body, identified as that of Shikha Jha, bearing marks of a sharp weapon, the police said.
Her husband, Army jawan Lal Jha is posted in Mathura.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
