Woman's body found in sack, husband accused of murdering her

A 26-year-old woman's body was found in a sack at her rented accommodation in west Delhi's Ranhola area today, with police suspecting that she was strangled.
The body of Sahnu was found by the neighbours in a partially decomposed state after it started emanating foul smell. Her husband and three-year-old daughter are missing, police said.
The deceased's brother, Wasim, was informed by her landlord about the incident, following which a complaint was lodged at Ranhola police station accusing Sunil, the woman's husband, of murdering her, they said.
It is suspected that the woman was strangulated to death about three to four days back but the exact cause and time of death will be determined after getting the autopsy report, a senior police officer said.

"We are trying to trace Sunil as well as his daughter, and teams have been formed to raid his possible hideouts in Delhi as well as his native place Bihar," the officer said.
