Woman shot dead, ganddaughter injured over minor scuffle

A 45-year-old woman was shot dead and her toddler granddaughter injured when they were fired upon allegedly during a clash over construction of a passage at Dadipur village in Mainpuri.
Mithlesh Kumari was killed and her three-year-old granddaughter Ananya injured as rivals opened fire during a brawl over construction of a passage in the village under Kisni police station area, police said.
An FIR has been filed naming four persons and efforts are on to nab them, police said, adding the injured has been admitted to a Saifai hospital.
