Victim Sah Bai with the arrow stuck near her left eye, was rushed to Jobat Community Health Centre (PHC) from where she moved to district hospital which referred her to government medical college and hospital in Indore last evening, area police station inspector Amarnath Sharma told PTI.
The arrow was successfully removed from Sah's head this noon at Indore, the inspector said.
"We have launched a hunt to arrest Ann Singh (50) who shot the arrow injuring his wife," he added.
Soon after the incident, Ann fled from the spot and son Rakesh rushed his mother to the PHC, he added.
"We have booked the accused under section 307 of IPC and further investigations are on," Sharma added.
