Woman stabbed by eve-teaser

A 35-year-old woman sustained serious injuries when an eve-teaser stabbed her in Bhadari area here, police said today.
The accused also attacked her 14-year-old daughter when she tried to save her mother, they said.
"Manisha and her husband Rajesh Kumar, in a police complaint, said that Sonu, a resident of Bhadari Mohalla here, used to tease Manisha frequently. Yesterday, when she was returning her home, Sonu followed her and forcibly entered the house and attacked her with a knife," a police official said.
The accused also attacked Manisha's 14-year-old daughter Sanjana when she tried to save her mother, he said.

However, Sonu was nabbed by neighbours who handed him over to police.
Both Manisha and Sanjna were admitted to a nearby hospital here where their conditions are stated to be serious, police said, adding, a case has been registered against Sonu.
The investigation in the case is on, they said.
