Woman stops husband from getting married for 3rd time

: Taking up the challenge thrown by her husband to try and stop his third marriage, his 30-year old wife, a divorcee, today stopped him from tying the nuptial knot in the nick of time at a wedding hall, police said.
They said Sivanandhan (30), who was into the water supply business at Chennai, had got married a few years back, but got seperated due to differences.Then he married the divorcee with a five month old child,hiding facts of his earlier marriage.
He threatened to divorce her and get married for a third time when she berated him for not informing her of his earlier marriage, police said .

Sivanandhan who was absconding for the past two days, telephoned her last evening and told her he was going to marry another woman at Tiruchndur today and challenged her to stop.
The woman rushed to Tiruchendur today,entered the wedding hall where he was about to tie the Mangalsutra and informed all those present that he was already married and that she would not allow another marriage.
On being informed, police rushed to the spot and stopped the wedding after holding talks with both groups.
They said further action against the groom would be taken as per law.
