Woman, teenage paramour held for killing her husband

A 25-year-old woman and her teenage paramour were today apprehended by the police while they were transporting her husband's body on a two-wheeler to dispose it after allegedly killing him.
The woman, Pravalika, and her 16-year-old paramour were transporting the body of Pullaiah (36), an employee of a private company, on a bike from L B Nagar here to Kodad in Nalgonda district of Telangana, when a police patrol team spotted them at Pedda Amberpet on city outskirts, police said.
"They were taking the body to Kodad. The police team chased them and found that one body was being transported on the bike. The police team after inquiring them found the man was allegedly beaten to death by both of them on Saturday night," Deputy Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqubal told PTI.

Hayathnagar police had initially registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC, the DCP said, adding, now these sections will be altered to murder and other charges.
"After thorough questioning, the woman was arrested today and the boy has been apprehended and he will be sent to Juvenile Home," he said.
Further investigation is underway.
