Woman thrown out of moving vehicle, dies

A 19-year-old woman, who was allegedly thrown out of a moving tempo by its driver and his accomplice, today succumbed to her injuries, police said here.
On a complaint by the victim's mother police registered an FIR today and later arrested the tempo driver and his associate.
The incident took place in Madiaon police station area.
The tempo driver and his accomplice had late last night tried to snatch the woman's purse and mobile phone. When she resisted, they threw her out of the moving vehicle, SHO of Madiaon police station, Raghavan Kumar Singh said.
The woman had sustained head injuries and was admitted to the KGMU's trauma centre, where she breathed her last today.
