Woman tries to immolate husband to death

A 28-year old woman allegedly set afire her husband when he was asleep in the wee hours here today and later surrendered before police.
The woman, stated to be unhappy with their marriage, doused her husband with petrol mixed kerosene around 3 AM and set him afire, police said.
However, her the man managed to escape with burns and with the help of neighbours got admitted to a government hospital, they said.
The woman surrendered before an All-Woman Police Station and was produced in a court which remanded her to judicial custody.
