A female labourer was electrocuted today after she came in contact with an electric fence of a coffee estate at Solurmattarm, about 40 kms from here, police said.
Body of the 35-year-old woman was found by her husband, who went to look for her after she failed to return home this evening, police said.
Investigations are on to ascertain whether the fence was electrified by taking connection directly from domestic power or battery operated, as was the norm, they said.
