While in separate incident, a US-bound man was arrested for carrying six live cartridges, the CISF said.
In the first instance that occurred in the wee hours of today, a CISF check squad deployed at the Terminal-3 (T-3) of the IGI airport intercepted Medina Adriano (31), a Mocambicana national, when she arrived to take a flight to Johannesburg.
On finding her movements suspicious, security officials subjected the woman to a detailed frisking which led to the recovery of 20 kg of "pseudoephedrine" drug from her baggage.
"17 kg of the similar drug was recovered from her baggage during frisking," a senior CISF officer said.

Both the women and the seized drug have been handed over to anti-narcotics sleuths. The estimated cost of the narcotics is Rs 37 lakh, they said.
In an another incident, 53-year-old S S Sandhu was detained by CISF for allegedly carrying six live bullets of .32mm pistol in his baggage.
The incident occurred last night when Sandhu arrived at T-3 to travel to Chicago.
