Women security top priority: new Ghaziabad DM

Security of women and enforcement of rule of law will be her top priority, newly-appointed District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani, who assumed office here today, said.
She also directed officials to monitor government schemes and ensure timely completion of ongoing works.
Kesarwani, a 2004 batch IAS officer, assumed the charge from Vimal Kumar Sharma. Earlier, she was the district magistrate of Firozabad.
Sharma has been posted as special secretary (Commercial and entertainment tax) in Lucknow.
