The 'Starships' hitmaker, who is also a judge on American Idol, said its important for women to be fearless in order to succeed in life, reported Cosmopolitan magazine.
"You need to be fearless. Women all have insecurities and we all have things we don't like about ourselves in terms of body image, and where we are in life socially and relationship-wise. There are so many things to deal with," she said.
Nevertheless, the 30-year-old admitted she is not always so positive and has a tendency to always look at the negatives in life without enjoying the good things about it.
The 'Starships' singer believes her fearless attitude stems from her past life as a rags-to-riches revolutionary queen on a mission to save lives.
"I was born in London in my past life. I was probably like a queen there; the people's queen who fought for lives... I probably started off as a maid and then was just, like, really revolutionary and moved into the big queen mansion.
