The party also slammed the UPA and NDA governments over the Nirbhaya Fund remaining unspent.
"2 yrs. Nothing has changed since Nirbhaya (episode). Women still unsafe. I firmly believe we can make delhi safe for women. Lets join hands to do dat (sic)," AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal said in a tweet.
AAP's students' wing, Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti, had organised a human chain at Mandi House on the day to put the focus on the issue of women's safety.
AAP leaders said that safety of women still remains a concern in the national capital despite the horrific gangrape case which had shaken the nation's conscience. They also lamented that Nirbhaya's parents are still fighting a legal battle in the courts seeking justice for their daughter.

"Lax transport licensing policies came to light again in the recent rape of a young woman by a driver of Uber cab, an international taxi service.
"Simple steps such as increasing deployment of female police personnel and surveillance have not been implemented," the party said while proposing a policy of zero tolerance and strict law enforcement to deal with crimes against women.
"On an average, 40 cases of crimes against women are registered daily by Delhi Police, including at least four cases of rape.
