The company aims to recruit up to 300 women employees in the next five years, a company release said adding that women employees are expected to make up a third of its workforce in the next five years.
At present, women account for 13 per cent of the total employee strength of HSMC.
The company also rolled out a new programme with benefits including health insurance and tuition fees coverage for children of single mother women employees.
It will also pay creche fees of one girl child for one year.

"Our company has been known to create an environment conducive of motivating women workforce, as a result of which we have women leaders in various divisions," said Shradha Puri, Corporate Head-HR, Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic and added that there is also a conscious shift in the company for hiring women in field jobs from desk jobs.
Moreover, the company has also decided to launch a talent development programme which will include induction training and equal opportunity to complete certification for the women workforce.
