KPCC president V M Sudheeran today said women leaders and Mahila Congress activists would be given due representation during the time of reorganization of the party.
Inaugurating the state Mahila Congress executive committee meeting here, he said the party could not ensure deserved representation for women in the May 16 assembly polls.
The leader also said the party should have to be strengthened more in the present political scenario in the state and at the national level.
"We assure due representation for women in the party during the time of reorganisation. The party will also go ahead with its activities to protect the rights of women and ensure their security in the society," he said.
To protest the 'anti-people' policies of the union government, the Congress would organise protest marches to central government institutions and stage dharna in front of them on June 20, Sudheeran added.
Mahila Congress state president Bindhu Krishna was present during the meeting.
