"A judicial probe must be ordered into the affairs of the NGO," Jagmati Sangwan, vice-president of Akhil Bhartiya Janwadi Mahila Samiti said here.
The demand comes three days after 94 kids were rescued from a shelter home here, where some of the inmates had alleged sexual abuse.
Stating that no official statement had yet been released by the state government or concerned authorities, Sangwan said the women's body would organise protest if their demand was not met.
"There is no official statement yet. The samiti will organise protest at every district headquarter of the state on May 14 against such incidents," she said, adding, indefinite dharna would be staged here if adequate action was not taken soon.
Sangwan alleged that efforts were on by officials to shield the caretaker of the shelter.
Meanwhile Hisar Deputy Commissioner Amit Aggarwal has formed a committee to check records and functioning of all NGOs operating in the district.
The four-member committee headed by District Development and Panchayat Officer Sumit Kumar visited premises of various such organisations and met with girls and boys there.
