"The state will not tolerate any divisive act. Anyone trying to foment trouble in West Bengal better beware," the former Union Minister said at a public rally in Jalpaiguri town.
Roy was referring to the death of six persons in a blast in the outskirts of Jalpaiguri town last week which was suspected to have been carried by Kamtapur Liberation Organisation.
He said that these trouble makers were cowards in real sense.
Flaying the previous left front government of leaving behind the legacy of a debt-ridden state, Roy said, "after creating a 1.3 crore unemployed youth force they do not look embarrased to criticise this government."
