Stating that the state could not develop properly due to corruption, Das said in the last two years development had picked up due to stable government.
He said all departments were functioning on-line, adding that work was also on to make departments paperless by this year and district offices in the next two years to speed up developmental works.
He was speaking after distributing Tabs to engineers of six departments under Work Account Management Information System, an official release said here.
The chief minister said that naxal activities were curbed following the November 8 demonetisation.

He said that government revenue had increased and if one did one's work honestly no one could stop development of the state and the country.
Calling upon the people to work towards putting Ranchi among the top ten cities of the country, Das said better facilities could be available only when one paid taxes levied by the corporation.
Only those who did not want development were protesting against taxes, he added.
