Work under SAGY in Bangurda village to start soon: Mahato

BJP MP Bidyut Baran Mahato today assured of developing Bangurda, a village under Patamda block of East Singhbhum, which he has adopted under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Youja (SAGY), as a model village.
"The initial phase of work such as baseline survey of the village, data uploading before the main frame work to kick off etc. Have been completed and we will finalise the development plan in consultation with the concerned villagers," Mahato said.
"The aim was to develop the village as a model one and development of institutional and physical infrastructure along with ensuring 100 per cent access to health, education, sanitation, schools, toilets, libraries and smart schools," he said.

Besides, focus would be on employment generation, improvement in agriculture and irrigation sectors, construction of concrete roads, bridges, community hall, electrification of village and eradication of superstitions, Mahato said.
The development work would be taken up in four phases in the village having over 4,500 population, he added.
