World Bank team visits Faizabad-Ayodhya

A high-level team of World Bank today visited the twin towns of Faizabad-Ayodhya for implementation of state-of-art solid waste management plan.
The delegation of World Bank team was led by Jenis Bainsatin and Sandra from World Bank headquarters in United States.
They were accompanied by World Bank official in India, Vibhu Jain, World Bank consultant in India, P U Asnani, and senior officer in UP Jal Nigam A K Rai.
According to World Bank officials, the government of India in collaboration with World Bank has finalised project for the twin towns of Faizabad-Ayodhya for solid waste management.
In this project the solid waste will be recycled and converted into manures and will also be used in the production of electricity on local level.
