World Bank team visits heritage sites of Amritsar

A five-member World Bank team today took a tour of heritage sites of holy city of Amritsar to check the possibilities of creating a world class museum on partition here.
The team visited five sites including Summer Residence of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Panorama, Town Hall, Gobindgarh Fort and Chaali Khooh, officials said.
The group was led by world renowned economist Lord Meghnad Desai. Kishwar Desai, Malika Ahluwalia, Gitanjali Chaturvedi, Bindu Manchanda were the other members of the team.
