Army personnel today deactivated through controlled explosion two bombs of World War II period in West Bengal's Nadia district, district officials said.
The two bombs were found at Hanskhalia area of the district last month when workers were digging a pond.
The army personnel put the two bombs inside a 20 feet deep well and deactivated them through controlled explosion, the officials added.
